SETI deploys AI agents to operate radio telescopes and search for outer space signals

Researchers at the SETI Institute are using artificial intelligence agents to control the 42 radio antennas at the Allen Telescope Array in California. The system processes massive streams of incoming signal data, steering dish directions and picking up real time astronomical events like pulsars while searching for extraterrestrial intelligence.
