Sensors and scent misting hardware allow digital transmission of smells

Engineers at Ohio State University designed a prototype system that captures smell signatures using gas sensors and converts them into digital signals. A receiving device interprets the data and mists matching scents from liquid aroma cartridges. The current prototype can transmit five distinct aromas, including coffee and orange.
