Robotics and physical AI startups collect $47 billion in early 2026 funding

Venture funding for physical artificial intelligence, robotics, and autonomous transport companies reached $47.4 billion across more than 500 deals in the first half of the year. Large capital raises by autonomous driving and defense technology startups drove the high industry total.
