Zach Yadegari, an entrepreneur who recently sold Cal AI, announced a new wearable device called the Persona Band. According to a post by Yadegari on social media platform X, the wrist worn hardware acts as a dedicated controller for digital assistants. The product aims to handle routine chores like scheduling meetings and dialing phone numbers through tap or gesture commands. Early orders have launched, with shipping scheduled for late 2026.

If successful, this device could make interacting with software far more convenient during busy days. Instead of pulling out a smartphone or typing on a screen, professionals can tap their wrist to delegate administrative tasks. It represents a broader movement toward invisible computing, where software handles daily errands in the background without requiring constant screen attention.

However, previous efforts to market dedicated hardware for artificial intelligence have struggled to convince consumers that standalone gadgets are necessary.
