Rediscovery Confirms Survival of Rare Slow Loris Species
Researchers confirmed that the Bangka slow loris continues to survive across multiple locations on Bangka island after going undocumented since the 1930s. More than 90 individuals were located over a ten year search, though environmental destruction keeps the species listed as critically endangered.
