Anthropic enables Claude to execute computer tasks in the background
Anthropic rolled out background task processing for Claude Cowork and Claude Code, allowing the assistant to handle desktop automation while users focus on other assignments. The feature is available in preview mode for paid subscribers on macOS for approved applications.
