Block previews voice assistant trained entirely on spoken human conversations
Block introduced Dessa, a conversational voice model trained exclusively on raw audio of human dialogues rather than written text. The model can interject naturally, laugh during conversations, and help speakers finish interrupted thoughts. Access is currently limited to internal safety evaluators.
