Google research agents identify and resolve design mistakes independently
Autonomous laboratory agents created by Google Research designed synthetic DNA strands and successfully adjusted their approach after detecting flaws in early testing. When initial outputs proved overly sticky to off-target proteins, the agents analyzed trial data and modified their generation rules without human intervention. The updated approach yielded significantly higher target accuracy in subsequent rounds.
