Chinese mathematician presents 1,000 unsolved problems to test artificial intelligence
Nanjing University number theorist Sun Zhiwei has published a collection of 1,000 open mathematical conjectures to challenge human scholars and software models. He purposefully blocks the internet access of artificial intelligence systems during testing so they do not give up upon discovering a problem is unsolved.
