Visual mockups and document generation inside Claude Code

Anthropic has expanded its Claude AI assistant to support embedded visual design mockups, presentation slides, and structured document creation for paid plan members. Users can adjust and refine these visual elements through an integrated preview window without leaving their primary chat feed.

For everyday users, this feature reduces the need to constantly switch between separate editing, layout, and AI applications when drafting project proposals or initial software layouts. Instead of generating raw text and manually transferring it to external design tools, teams can collaborate with the AI on both text and visual layouts in one place.

It remains unclear how smoothly these generated layouts can be exported into industry-standard design programs like Figma, or how well the system maintains complex visual branding across larger sets of slides.

This development indicates that AI chat assistants are expanding beyond simple text generation into full media workspaces.
