Text based assistant Instinct reaches major valuation

A new artificial intelligence startup called Instinct has achieved a significant valuation shortly after its initial launch. The company sets itself apart by operating an autonomous assistant that communicates exclusively through standard phone calls and text messages. Users do not need to download a mobile app or log into a web dashboard to interact with the service.

For everyday consumers, this model removes the friction usually associated with trying new software.
