South Korea Establishes State-Funded Free AI Services for Citizens

South Korea's government has selected three telecommunications groups to deliver free AI services to all residents by the end of the year. Backed by state-funded hardware and infrastructure subsidies, the initiative requires that half of the underlying workloads run on domestic models. The public agents will help citizens manage everyday tasks like medical appointments, taxes, and housing applications.
