Former OpenAI researcher Diogo Almeida launched a new artificial intelligence startup named TypeSafe AI, releasing an initial model called Jev. As reported by the company on its engineering blog, Jev shifts away from conventional conversational chatbots that generate freeform text responses. Instead, the model focuses exclusively on making rapid, structured choices for software applications, trading conversational freedom for extreme speed and precision.

Most popular algorithms take several seconds to process information and can make unpredictable errors or invent facts.
