Silo author builds custom writing software using Claude

Sci-fi author Hugh Howey turned a long-standing concept for an ideal writing tool into reality with help from Anthropic's Claude. The resulting software, named NEO, includes custom features tailored for authors such as quick chapter breaks and a dedicated section for cut text.
