Machine Learning Wrapper Enhances Multi-Week Weather Forecasting Accuracy

An MIT led research team built an open source AI system designed to correct recurring errors made by traditional meteorological models. Placed on top of existing software, the system doubled prediction accuracy for weather conditions two to six weeks in advance.
