Google Cloud introduces goal-driven Gemini AI agents

Google Cloud announced new capabilities for its Gemini agent system that allow users to assign overall goals rather than step-by-step instructions. The AI agent runs persistently in the cloud to write code, generate visual content, and create documents across different devices. Companies can also create digital coworker agents complete with dedicated corporate email addresses and directory listings.
