Claude Introduces Restricted Channel Only Access for Guest Slack Workspaces

Anthropic updated its Slack integration to let Claude interact in shared channels containing external guests like freelancers or agency partners without exposing internal company data. When enabled, the AI limits its knowledge strictly to the specific guest channel's guidelines and immediate files while turning off cross channel searching and global memory. The feature is optional and disabled by default to maintain data privacy.
