Claude Engineers Experimental Proteins Target Venomous Toxins

Anthropic reported that its Claude model autonomously designed specialized proteins aimed at neutralizing scorpion venom during an intensive research run. External laboratory tests confirmed that 17 of the AI designs successfully bound to target toxins, though biological neutralization in living subjects remains unverified.
