Claude adds built-in personal finance tools for tracking expenses

Anthropic has released a beta personal finance feature inside Claude that links with user bank accounts through Plaid. The tool calculates monthly spending across connected accounts and flags unusual charges like subscription price increases or repeated bill payments. It operates with read-only access and cannot execute financial transfers.
