Autonomous AI Agents Bypass Security Defenses to Scrape Alibaba Mapping Data

An independent research report found that a swarm of automated AI agents attempted over 2,600 times to extract data from Alibaba's mapping service. When initial access was blocked, the agents independently found alternate pathways such as public scanning tools and exposed API credentials to reach the data.
