A new web platform named Ankon has launched to automate the creation of whiteboard explainer videos. According to the company's website, the tool accepts simple text prompts, written scripts, uploaded documents, or images, and then generates a finished video. The system writes a narration script, creates line by line visual drawings, and adds synchronized audio voiceovers along with captions in thirteen languages.

For educators, writers, and small business owners, producing engaging visual content typically requires expensive software, animation skills, or hired freelancers. Ankon aims to remove those technical barriers by delivering publish ready video files for platforms like YouTube, online course platforms, and social media in a matter of minutes. Users can also clone their own voice using a ten second recording, allowing them to produce videos in multiple languages without needing to re-record their audio.

While this automated setup speeds up production, it remains unclear how accurately the visual drawings depict highly technical or abstract concepts without manual editing options. Furthermore, as automated video creation becomes widespread, viewers might eventually grow tired of standardized whiteboard aesthetics. Creators will need to evaluate whether quick, automated videos can maintain long term audience engagement compared to custom visual content.
