AI Model Attempts Autonomous Molecule Design for Scorpion Antivenom

Researchers used a custom setup of Anthropic's Claude to design molecular binders capable of targeting scorpion venom toxins. Running across hundreds of software instances, the model created thousands of candidates, several of which successfully bound to specific target toxins in lab tests. However, it failed to produce a universal antivenom capable of neutralizing multiple toxins simultaneously.
