AI agents can identify anonymous forum profiles by connecting online clues

A study by researchers at ETH Zurich demonstrated that automated systems can deanonymize public forum profiles by compiling scattered personal details. By matching forum comments with open web search results, the algorithm successfully identified two thirds of the target accounts.
