Agility Robotics unveils Digit 5 humanoid for collaborative factory tasks

NVIDIA has announced that Perplexity is bringing its Portable Computer software to Windows machines equipped with high-end RTX graphics processing units. According to NVIDIA's official blog, this tool allows an artificial intelligence agent to plan and carry out complex, multi-step tasks directly on a personal computer rather than relying entirely on cloud servers.

By processing information locally using open models tailored for graphics hardware, the platform lets users analyze sensitive files, such as tax summaries or private software code, without transmitting them to external corporate servers. If a task requires extra reasoning capabilities, the program asks for human approval before sending data to cloud systems.
